Let’s have cheeseburger eggrolls... but make them #vegan 😋🌱[AD]

Being on the Daniel Fast has me experimenting with some delicious plant based alternatives to meat. When I discovered @meatlessfarm’s #MeatFree ground, I wanted to do a twist on a classic dish. I wanted a cheeseburger, but I also wanted egg rolls, so why not make both? Cheeseburger Eggrolls it is! *chefs kiss*

This meat free ground has the texture and mouth feel of traditional ground beef, but is made sustainably with the power of plants! #MeatFreeNotTasteFree I love that it is packed with protein, a good source of fiber and super versatile. Since a little girl, I have always been an avid re

Since a little girl, I have always been an avid reader. No matter the genre, one of my favorite pastime’s have always been getting lost in the pages of a great book. And for the record, the book is almost always better than the movie. Yes, I said it.

Growing up I primarily read African American literature *cough cough* The Coldest Winter Ever, Fly Girl, Zane, etc. However, my favorite genres are mystery suspense and fantasy. Hence why Harry Potter is, and will forever be, the greatest series of books I’ve ever read in my life.

A few years ago, I started reading self-help books and I am still blown away at how these books do exactly what they say they will: help you help yourself. Today on the blog, I am sharing 6 books that have legitimately changed my life. Over the years, I’ve grown so much wiser and can only imagine how I will continue to grow through implementation of the principles I am learning.

Each of these books cater to a different area of my life. From financial literacy, to self care, to building good habits, to the power of prayer, and the power of focus. Because of these books, I am a better woman mentally, spiritually, financially, personally, and professionally. I hope they elevate your life as much as they did mine.

And no.. this picture was not staged. This was a genuine laugh from the bottom of my soul and it felt so good. In full transparency, I hadn’t laughed like this with Richard in a long time. Putting God at the center of our relationship and really growing together vs growing apart has really turned things around for us. I’m legit the happiest I’ve ever been and it’s all because of God’s grace.

Oh and speaking of God, He told me something really special would be happening soon, so I’m just laying low, and waiting for the next blessing ☺️

I’m still trying to determine what will be the first thing I indulge in when I come off the Daniel Fast. I’m thinking a fancy charcuterie board with a glass of red wine might do the trick. [AD]

Ever since I got this gorgeous board from @jcpenney, I have been dying to do a full spread on it. Not only is it an oversized display board, which I love, but it’s also made from real wood and has leather straps as handles 😩😍 *hostess with the mostest activated*

Are you a sucker for details when it comes to serveware/ cookware or is it just me? 😩

See how she sitting over there on his lap all snuggly and ain’t even thinking about me? That’s how she does me all day, everyday. It’s the daddy for her 😒

To think I gave this child my entire body for 9 months, breastfed her for another 6, gained weight, lost weight, and gained it again.. only for her to come out looking just like her daddy 😑

Then have the nerve to actually be a daddy’s girl lol. Daddy this, daddy that- like girl, what am I, chopped liver?! Sometimes I feel like Casper in my own house smh. She’s my “friend” too.. but mostly when she’s upset with her dad 🤣 Sorry mama, I understand now.

Because guess what? When you win, 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 people will be right there rooting for you. Not just because they love you, but because they know if God is blessing their neighbor, that means He’s in the neighborhood. ⁣

Life is hard. 2020 was even harder. And if it has taught us nothing else, its taught us that 𝐚𝐥𝐥 wins, whether big or small, deserve to be celebrated!⁣ Drop a 🗣 in the comments if you agree.
