Raise your hand if you’re ready to celebrate Halloween! *raises hand*
I don’t know about you all, but fall is my favorite season for many reasons. Sweater weather, pumpkin spice lattes, fall scented candles, fall fashion, Thanksgiving, and of course, Halloween! Must I go on?
With all that’s going on in the world, we’ve decided to get a head start on Halloween, and you should too. I have a ton of things planned for a fun and safe Halloween this year. Sanai is so ready to get all dressed up and have a blast eating more sweet treats than her little tummy can take. Will she be a princess, wicked witch, a bumblebee? Well, the options are tremendous. Especially with Dollar General. No surprise there, right? In case you didn’t know, Dollar General is my headquarters for every holiday and season. I headed there to get all the things I need for a spooktastic Halloween. From indoor and outdoor décor, to candy, costumes and food, Dollar General has it all. Before you head there, make sure you have downloaded the Dollar General Digital Coupons app, it’s a game changer. I try to plan my Dollar General trips for Saturday’s because you get $5 off $25, in addition to a bunch of other savings on name brand candy favorite like Reese’s and Hershey’s. They even had some limited edition infused Dum Dum Pops and I had to get some for Sanai. So, let’s get int the good stuff! What did I decorate?
Since I actually already had my entryway table decorated (thanks to Dollar General, check out that post here), I wanted to transform another space in my home. I figured the coffee station in the kitchen would be the perfect place. I bought a few super cute and spooky décor items to deck out that area of my countertop. I think it turned out perfect, see below.

These are just a small fraction of the many Halloween décor items Dollar General had. Make sure you check them out so you can deck out your space, as well.
I know things may be a little bit rocky with the pandemic still in full swing, so I want to make sure you know you can still celebrate Halloween safely in your home, if that’s what you feel most comfortable with. Here are two fun ideas you can recreate to have a fun and safe Halloween in house:
Halloween weekend crafts and baking party– Dollar General has a lot of crafts and baking goods that you can use. And since it’s Halloween, this is the perfect time to incorporate some candy into your sweet treats. Sanai loves candy corn, so we’re going to make some spooky brownies with candy corn infused. Check out the DG crafts and DG easy meals for more ideas.

Halloween backyard scavenger hunt & small party: This is going to be Sanai favorite activity. Anything outdoors is always right up her alley, so adding in a scavenger hunt only sweetens the deal. I grabbed some more snacks, food and drinks to make sure we had a full spread. I’m going to invite over a few of Sanai’s friends so they can play along with her.

As you can see, even if you aren’t ready to go out trick or treating, Dollar General can help you bring the tricks and treats right to your doorstep. From your front porch to your kitchen to cute costumes, they have all of the Halloween items you could want. Head over to Dollar General to get everything you need to have a fun and safe holiday.
